In a big announcement Tuesday, Head Coach Gus Malzahn announced that both Will Hastings and Eli Stove have been cleared for full-contact practice
After sustaining ACL tears in spring practice, Auburn wide receivers Will Hastings and Eli Stove are now clear to practice in full capacity, Head Coach Gus Malzahn announced on Tuesday at his weekly press conference.
There will be an exception to the clearance, however.
Tom Green of AL.com reports that Hastings and Stove will not be tackled until Malzahn is “100% sure” that both players are ready. The two receivers will compete in a handful of drills in the meantime.
Hastings has 37 catches for 623 yards in two full seasons as a wide receiver, with five touchdowns. Stove, a versatile player in the Auburn offense, has 446 yards on the ground with three touchdowns, in addition to 489 yards receiving.
