#3 TEXAS A&M AGGIES

DETAILS: NOVEMBER 3 in AUBURN

On odd years, the storyline is “Auburn has not won in Baton Rouge since 1999”. On even years, it is “the home team has not won a game in the Auburn-Texas A&M series since the Aggies became a member of the SEC.”

Well, it’s 2018, and Texas A&M will visit Auburn on November 3. This time, they will have a new general leading the way in Jimbo Fisher. Fisher comes to College Station after a successful stint as Head Coach at Florida State where he won 83 games in eight seasons. He does have plenty of experience in the SEC, coaching at Auburn and LSU before becoming the head coach of the Seminoles. Texas A&M has made it to a bowl game every year since becoming a full-time member of the SEC but decided to go another direction from former coach, Kevin Sumlin, after failing to win more than 9 games since winning 11 games in 2012.

While Auburn certainly has the ability to beat the Aggies at home, Fisher’s presence could be tricky. I still see the streak ending, though.

Prediction: Auburn 31 Texas A&M 21
