November 24: Alabama (Tuscaloosa)
Jalen Hurts? Tua? This is all the buzz, and quite frankly, it won’t make too much of a difference. I expect Tua to seize full-control of the job, and have the Tide rolling by this point. Both teams will be ranked in the Top 10 with Alabama sitting alone at #1.
Auburn has the depth, experience, and talent to beat the Tide for back-to-back Iron Bowl wins over Saban, but having the potential and actually doing it are two different things. However, I believe Auburn will move the ball on their defense, and the Tiger D will stuff the Tide’s balanced attack. Anders Carlson will become the hero in this one, just like his brother used to be.
Auburn 31 Bama 28
The Auburn Tigers go into the SEC Championship Game 11-1, with a spot in the College Football Playoff on the line. The opponent? The Georgia Bulldogs. Round 2.
