Auburn Football: 2018 Schedule and Predictions
May 3, 2018 By Cameron CaldwellSeptember 8: Alabama State (Auburn)
The Hornets from Montgomery finished last season 5-6, and open up with Tuskegee before making the short trip to The Plains. This should be a tune-up game before LSU comes in, and Auburn will try to take care of business early on in the game.
State has a new coach in Donald Hill-Eley, but this will not be a very positive trip in terms of play on the field. Auburn gets the starters out at halftime and cruises to a 2-0 start.

The Bengal Tigers come in to Jordan-Hare with what won’t be decided until the time comes. They open up with Miami, which should be intriguing. The quarterback is not 100% decided, but my guess is it will be freshman Lowell Narcisse.
LSU is a bit of a wildcard as of right now, and a lot is unknown. It should make for a great game in Jordan-Hare, and Auburn should have their offense rolling.

September 22: Arkansas (Auburn)
Another game in Auburn, the Tigers will try and beat up on the visiting Hogs. Arkansas finished a lowly 4-8 last year. New Razorback head coach Chad Morris has a big rebuilding job on his hands. Morris’ squad starts out with a favorable schedule, but then have to travel to Auburn with a considerably less talented team.
Cole Kelly will likely be the signal caller in Fayetteville, but with a shuffled offensive line, it looks to be a struggle against one of the best defensive fronts in college football. I foresee a repeat of the 2016 beatdown in Auburn.
