Auburn Football: 2018 Schedule and Predictions
May 3, 2018 By Cameron CaldwellThe 2018 version of the Auburn Tigers look to build on an impressive SEC West title and appearances in the SEC Championship Game and the Peach Bowl prove to be building blocks to where this program is headed.
The upcoming schedule is one of the toughest in the conference and one of the hardest in the nation. The SEC schedule is always a grind, but when you are on the road for big games, it can be overwhelming.
September 1st: Washington (Atlanta)
The Tigers open up against a very unfamiliar foe in the Huskies from Washington in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Huskies, finishing 10-3 last season, return a talented offense led by quarterback Jake Browning and senior running back Miles Gaskin.
Auburn will likely not have too much trouble moving the ball on “U-Dub”, who lost a good bit of talent to the NFL Draft. Stidham, teaming up with Chip Lindsey in their second season together, should come out firing on all cylinders. The defense will be tested, but keep Browning on his heels all day.
